Lado Protsahan Yojana
The Rajasthan government has implemented the Lado Protsahan Yojana in the whole of Rajasthan from August 1.
A saving bond of ₹ 100000 will be provided by the state government on the birth of a daughter.
Under this, an amount of one lakh rupees will be given to girls in seven installments till the age of 21 years.
This scheme, operated through the Department of Women and Child Development, will benefit daughters born after August 1, 2024.
Under the scheme, only those daughters will get the benefit, who are born in a government or accredited hospital.
The first installment of ₹2500 will be given at the time of birth, the second installment of ₹2500 after 1 year, the third installment of ₹4000 at the time of admission to the first grade, the fourth installment of ₹5000 at the time of admission to the sixth grade, the fifth installment of ₹11000 at the time of admission to the tenth grade, the sixth installment of ₹25000 at the time of admission to the 12th grade and the final installment of ₹50000 will be given on completion of graduation.
Earlier, the Rajshree scheme was being run by the state government in which ₹50000 were given, now this scheme has been included in the Laado Protsahan Yojana.
