Important Government Schemes for Women
  • Laado Protsahan Yojana – An amount of one lakh rupees is being provided in 7 installments from the birth of the girl child till she attains higher education.
  • Under the Chief Minister Nari Shakti Udyam Protsahan Yojana, loans are being made available to women through banks on easy terms.
  • Through the Chief Minister Nari Shakti Training and Skill Development Scheme, women and girls are being given training in employment-oriented, digital skills and personality development.
  • Through the Kalibai Bhil Udaan Yojana, free sanitary napkins are being provided to women and girls.
  • One Stop Sakhi Center – Through this, various types of information and counseling have been given to empower women and government schemes.
  • Under the Mukhyamantri Samuhik Vivah Yojana, the Rajasthan government will provide financial grants to encourage the organization of mass marriages in the state. In this, Rs 21000 is given to the bride and Rs 4000 to the institution.
  • Through the Rajasthan Maru Udaan program, important training is being given to women like physical and mental training, breast cancer awareness, self-defense training, digital literacy, financial literacy, driving training and career counseling.
  • Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao Yojana – has been started to eliminate discrimination against women and girls and empower them. This scheme is 100 percent funded by the Central Government. In the recent Chintan Shivir organized in Udaipur, the Union Ministry of Women and Child Development has identified this initiative as the best practice in the entire country.
  • Under the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana, the amount given at the time of birth of the first child has been increased from Rs 5 thousand to Rs 6 thousand 500.
  • Mukhyamantri Amrit Aahar Yojana has been started to provide milk as additional nutrition to children between 3 to 6 years at Anganwadi centers.
