Govardhan Parikrama Vikas Project
Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma laid the foundation stone of Poonchri ka Lautha and Govardhan Parikrama Vikas Project in Deeg.
A plan has been made to develop Giriraj Ji Parikrama Path by dividing it into four zones.
The foundation stone of the first zone has been laid, in which Shrinath Ji Temple, Poonchri ka Lautha Temple, Dauji Temple, Ganga Temple, Narsingh Ji Temple, Mukharbind, Apsara Kund and Naval Kund, Fountain, Radha Vatika, Botanical Garden, Lotus Pond, Mayur Vatika, Vishnu Avatar Garden will be developed.
After this, in the second zone, works like grand entry and exit gates, beautification of the routes etc will be done.
In the third zone of Parikrama Path, outside of Parikrama Marg will be developed.
The 250 feet high statue to be built in the fourth zone will be the center of attraction for the devotees.
On this occasion, Vedanta Chairman Anil Agarwal announced to give Rs 100 crore for development in the region.
