Silicosis Policy- 2019 Under the Rajasthan Silicosis Policy 2019, an assistance amount of about Rs 509 crore has been given. This has benefited 18,364 victims. Under this policy, an assistance of Rs 3 lakh is given to the patient on the certification of the disease. On death, dependents are given Rs 2 lakh. Provision has also been made for silicosis widow pension. Along with this, a provision has also been made to give 10 thousand rupees to the family members for the last rites. A campaign will be launched by the state government for three months to prevent silicosis disease. This campaign will start from November 2022.
