Camel conservation scheme
Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot has approved the new camel conservation scheme in the state.
For this, a financial provision of Rs 2.60 crore has also been approved.
According to the plan, the veterinarian will issue identity cards to the female camel and the child by tagging them. The vet will be given an honorarium of Rs 50 for each identity card.
After issuing the identity card, Rs 5,000 will be payable to the camel keeper as the first instalment.
Rs. 5,000 will be given as the second installment when the camel child is one year old.
In this way, the main objective of this scheme of the state government, is to provide protection to the state animal of the state and financial help to the camel herder.
