PM Narendra Modi inaugurated ‘Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit-2024’ in Jaipur.
About Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit-2024
- Date – 9, 10 and 11 December 2024
- Venue – At Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Center (JECC) located at Sitapura in the capital Jaipur.
- Department – This investment conference is being organized in collaboration with the Department of Industry and Commerce, Bureau of Investment Promotion (BIP) and Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO) of the Government of Rajasthan.
- Objective – The objective of this three-day international conference is to invite small and big companies, international institutions and investors from the country and abroad to invest in the state, to assist in setting up various types of industries in the state and to provide other facilities.
- MoUs – The state government has so far signed MoUs with various companies for investment of more than Rs 35 lakh crore.
- Road Shows – So far, programs have been organized in Mumbai, Delhi, South Korea, Japan, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Singapore, Germany, United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia.
- Pre-Summits – Along with the event at the district level, MoUs are being signed with investors by organizing pre-summits by major departments.
- 32 countries will participate in this, out of which 17 are partner countries.
- Partner Countries – Denmark, Malaysia, Brazil, Japan, Spain, Costa Rica, South Korea, Cuba, Nepal, Venezuela, Oman, Singapore, Morocco, Poland, Switzerland, Argentina, Thailand.
Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma’s 10 resolutions for Rising Rajasthan
- First resolution – The inaugural day of the summit will be run by solar energy.
- Second resolution – Our traditional handicrafts will introduce our rich culture to the world in the Rising Rajasthan Summit.
- Third resolution – We will promote millet foods in the International Investment Conference.
- Fourth resolution – Students will get global exposure in Rising Rajasthan.
- Fifth resolution – The use of plastic will be minimal in Rising Rajasthan.
- Sixth resolution – The art and skills of Divyang children will get due respect in Rising Rajasthan.
- Seventh resolution – The art and culture of the state will be seen in Rising Rajasthan.
- Eighth resolution – The special products of each district will get recognition in Rising Rajasthan.
- Ninth resolution – We will move towards a green state through waste segregation.
- Tenth resolution – The investment conference will create employment opportunities in the state.
